APPLICATION: This XLPE / PVC unarmoured cable is suitable for industrial wiring. The cable can be clippedto surface, on trays or in free air where there is little risk of mechanical damage. The 6U81SH XLPE / PVC unarmoured cable is also suitable for laying into trunking or conduit etc. when mechanical protection is required. May be embedded in concrete.
CONSTRUCTION: Single core cable. Stranded plain copper conductor, XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) insulated and PVC sheathed.
CORE COLOURS: Brown or Blue
SHEATH COLOURS: PVC sheathed in black. Other colours available to order.

CONDUCTOR TEMPERATURE: 90°C.
Note: Where a conductor operates at a temperature
exceeding 70°C it shall be ascertained that
the equipment connected to the conductor is
suitable for the conductor operating temperature
(see regulation 512-02 of BS7671, the 16th Edition
of IEE Wiring Regulations).
